Postdoctoral Position in Signal Transduction in C. elegans 2011, Switzerland

Nurse Scholarship We are investigating how the receptor signals to local growth factors and how their activities regulated in precursor cells of the epidermis. We're focused on epidermal growth factor receptor, because activation of this receptor is not worth engaging in various types of tumor formation in humans. In another project, we are studying the process of cell invasion during development. We are identifying signal, in which the vulval precursor cells to induce anchor adjacent cells to invade into the vulval epithelium.Nurse Scholarship Activation of cell invasion is considered an early event during the formation of tumor metastasis. In addition, we are studying how signals between cells to control the vulval cell morphogenesis experiencing terminal differentiation to determine the shape and size of the organ.
